Wow! You moms sure have had some fun moments with your kids. Keep ‘em coming.
Keep a Journal
We keep a journal together, They/I write few sentences about something they did that day or about something from the past, and they draw a picture for it. Other days we look back at some of the entries and talk about how much fun it was as well as how much they have changed.
Bond
Bonding in our family is made a little bit harder because Jack's autism makes it difficult for him to do many relational things anyway so here are a few that we do:

*pillow fights in the living room with couch pillows but you must stay on the living room rug, and you must yell "pillow fight" before you fling a pillow (no real hitting involved).
*morning snuggle/tickle time in mom and dad's bed before the alarm goes off.
*feed the fish in our new fish tank S L O W L Y and watch them gobble each piece, then try to follow one fish around the tank.
*wrestle mania in the kids room where there is giant pile of blankets and opened sleeping bags.
*we have snowball fights when we are in Tahoe but it takes at least ten minutes to get the kids dressed!
Clean Up
We play "clean up" and Cole is the broom and we drag him by his leg around the house (we have wood floors so no limbs need to be pulled from the sockets) and mop up the dust bunnies.
